The investment reaches 2.8 M euros and is prepared to process 30,000 tonnes of liquid sugar annually. The new liquid sugar processing unit located in the Toro industrial plant, which has an R + D + i center, is to triple the production capacity of the existing facilities.

Nirosa has collaborated in the accomplishment of the plans of Azucarera realizing the Design and Execution Basic Engineering and Detail Engineering, Piping Engineering and Project Management.

Also, the transfer includes part of the machines that were in Peñafiel to be reused in the new facilities that have been projected in the factory of Toro, operations of Revamping that Nirosa has carried out.

3D plant design

The project has been modeled in 3D with the realization of a video presentation in HD that includes indoor and outdoor virtual tours, rendered photorealistic images and 4D execution planning.

BIM MEP Methodology

The Piping and the machinery of the new plant implantation has been realized by the methodology BIM MEP; Thanks to which the routes of the facilities and services have been optimized, reducing the errors, interferences and possible problems during the execution.

The new center of innovation of Toro will allow the production of liquid specialties from liquid sugars and inverted liquids, for the by-products of animal and human consumption.
